| Oh, em, gee. Finals are over. SCHOOL IS OVER. JUNIOR YEAR IS OVER.
I'M A FLIPPIN SENIOR
WHAT THE KUNG? WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!?!
A lot has happened this year and hopefully this summer I can go back and read all the things I've written about. Junior year was definitely more interesting than sophomore year, that's for sure, in good and bad ways but mostly good. Sophomore year I just remember doing bad and moping about my Chicago friends and moving and etc etc.
This year was...well, yes, interesting.
People: Steven, Alfredo, Bryant, Jitti, Chason, AJ [what a frickin hottie!], Leani, Ivy, Kim, Dee, Marc. I've met, lost, but mostly made so many wonderful friends. I mean, recently my Chicago friends have really proven that they've been there for me (note: sarcasm), but time and life goes on and look now I have my awesome Ivy who is as loyal as I am and, well, we're just the best fucking friends ever. I'm pretty sure we're going to Fullerton together and well basically I love her uber mucho ^-^!
SO, YES. This year has been. Quite the journey. Hell. It was amazing. From hanging with Leani and Chason and the guys to sneaking out with Ivy and Marc. I don't know. California is pretty alright. :D
As idealistic_idiot I have had...
1. My first In-N-Out experience 2. My first kiss 3. My first best friend...in CA 4. a great year!
So ends another year....so ends another xanga. Some of you already know, some of you will know soon enough, and I'd like to keep it that way for awhile because I've actually been getting pretty annoyed at some people. For those others, you may or may not eventually know it, but don't ask because then you'll really irritate me =) Just buggers off =D
WEEEEEEEE. TO ALL THOSE SENIORS WHO GRADUATED: GOOD LUCK IN LIFE AND TAKE CARE <3333

| People think that having a pool in your backyard is great. You can go swimming all the time.
I bet the nice big public pool in Lincolnwood is open by now. I remember they finished reconstruction the summer I was moving. It was amazing. There is now three huge water slides, the main pool with a diving area that had three diving boards, a kid area with water spashes and fountains, and then the kiddie pool. The snack area got bigger and they had more room for more sun chairs. Sun and trees and splashes and screams, hot lifeguards and hot guys and ice cream and funnel cake.
Right now I could use a day at the pool with my friends. They'd come over to my house and we'd just walk there because I lived right next to it.
But I just have a pool in my backyard, dirty from all the pine leaves and seeds and the occasional pine cone that keep falling in it. A small, very low diving board is the only feature it has. Not even a heater so the water is super cold, even if you swim in it for awhile.

| Before I go off to begin Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, let's create a Theologian's style, hypothetical situation:
Let's say you have a close friend whom you love dearly. You are always there for them as they are always there for you, no matter what. Let's say this person got together with someone of the opposite sex, someone you have chemistry with and have certain attractive aspects (both physical and personality wise). Let's say that you begin to have feelings for this person, too, but you suppress them for obvious reasons. Let's say this friend of yours breaks up with that person and knows your feelings for them, but instead of being angry is encouraging. Everything is good--except you are not sure the person returns your feelings because the person still flirts and such with the close friend. But let's say you talk to this person more and are more emotionally connected.
Do you risk the friendship for the chance of a deeper and more significant relationship? Or do you let your feelings surpass into the possible land of regret?
I was sort of in this situation before. I chose to keep the friendship. Had things been different, maybe I would have chose otherwise. But I'm very happy that Hassan and I have developed a close friendship, despite the few times we've talk to each other since I moved to California.
hak12288: i'm glad i have a friend like you to be honest hak12288: fishessaybloop: =D hak12288: even though we don't talk as much and we're far apart and all hak12288: like..i dk i still feel you deep down in the heart and stuff fishessaybloop: yeah me too hak12288: fishessaybloop: =] /end cheese So, yes. The situation I was in is a bit different than the hypothetical one described above.
What would you do? | | |
